The park is known for its largest population of mountain gorillas, a half of the world’s population. The experience involves hiking and walking through the impenetrable forest as you enjoy an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Programme for the 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour
Day1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
You will begin your day by enjoying your tasty breakfast at your hotel and then picked by our driver guide who will transfer you to your safari, Bwindi Impenetrable National park driving through Kampala towards southwestern Uganda. This gorilla trekking safari will be a spectacle of highway sights of rural and semi-urban Uganda, with several fruit and vegetable markets along the roads, craft, and drum makers.
You will have a first stopover at the Equator monument in Kayabwe for memorable photography where the earth is divided into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. A water experiment at this very point will be carried out to explain the geographical discovery of the Uganda Equator. While here you may opt to look in to African shops to buy some crafts and souvenirs. Proceed to Mbarara where you will have your lunch and a tour around Igongo cultural museum .Hereafter, proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park with stopovers and photo sessions of the landscape. Arriving later in the afternoon for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Enjoy your morning breakfast before setting off for the gorilla trekking activity, with your packed lunches you will commence with a drive to the park headquarters where park officials will brief you on the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking in the forest. You will then be grouped into 8 individuals with other tourists trekking gorillas the same day then you will be guided in to the forest by park rangers to trek the famed mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This excursion will take between 2 to 8 hours depending to encounter a habituated gorilla family and needs a reasonable level of fitness and health. In case you have a physical limitation, there is still a chance for you to enjoy this Uganda gorilla trekking by taking special arrangements at an extra small cost where Porters lift you on a local wheel chair all the way through the forest to spot the gorillas.
During the gorilla trekking excursion, there are a number of other things you and spot for example; a variety of bird species, beautiful colored butterflies, trees species, and primates including, the chimpanzees and the Black and White Columbus monkeys. Once you come face to face with these mountain gorillas you will be allowed to be with them for 1 hour as you watch them play, feed, jump from different tree branch to another. Have your picnic lunch and head back to the park headquarters, meet your driver guide and transfer back to your booked accommodation for relaxation and refreshment. Later in the afternoon you may have an optional guided community tour to the Batwa (pygmies) community for a cultural experience where you will enjoy their cultural songs, dances and activities. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
On the last day of your safari, you will have a leisurely breakfast then prepare for check out at the accommodation to embark on your return journey back to Kampala. Along the way you on a lucky day you may have a chance to see zebras, impalas through Lake Mburo national park. You will arrive in Kampala later in the afternoon, and then dropped to your hotel or Entebbe international Airport for flight connections back home.
